A Stricken Empire - The Shadow of Our Hegemony

The shadow of the hegemony, when it grows on the earth in the last two centuries, voices, thin and weaken the pulse. With his seemingly days are numbered, the American Empire - the great experiment in freedom and prosperity - is clearly contrary to its end. Early indications pointed to this most important event in the hard fall of its financial markets and the idle of the economic engines. The road to infinite progress and general prosperity seems to be close to a deadEnd.

Obama's election signaled the rising of the curtain for a last act, such as the charismatic Empire Builder orchestrated effort on the stage and promises a new beginning to an ever-expanding Federal mandate, again with America, "ready to lead the world." Even the least astute among us could the signs of fatigue of the archetypal American and constantly threatening struggle between the forces of imperial expansion, contraction, and alternatively, for inciting read somethingsoftly whispered - his resolution.

The signs of such an opportunity are the tangible, almost visceral reactions of individual states recoiling from the increasing burden of these ever-growing Federal hegemony. Perhaps they are - the governors saw - to intervene and the deceit of the kingdom, relentlessly clawing his way forward as clearly as others around the globe we have seen for more than a century.

The evidence is clear and unmistakable: a renewed defense of the 10thChange - to preserve States' rights, a blatant denial of the Federal Republic of stimulus funds, and feelings of resignation from the Union, a number of government executives, coupled with the self-destruction of the Republican Party and the fragmentation of party strife currently haunting in power. And all this in apparent response to the tendency of Obama on the restriction of the 2nd Change the law on weapons, federalization contribute to nationalize the health insurance industry, commercial enterprises, loans toMoney to states to tax energy consumption and continue to expand globally, our financial and military investment. Now you get the picture! Other big government! More imperial control! More Power! As Obama so eloquently tipped his own hand just this month in Russia, "the pursuit of power is no longer a zero-sum game ..." a rather quickly admit that the true mission of his (and perhaps all) of the political leadership of the management of power within the country and its extensionworldwide.

So what happened here? Well, the socialists, anarchists and communists, etc., everything smells blood in the water. However, jump the larger political body - the "proletariat" or "petty bourgeoisie" (depending on your perspective) - not so fast on one of those tired old bandwagons. In fact, start many of those among the masses, to provide alternative solutions to issues exploring around the direction and speed of change necessary to avert the worst consequences of. This isvoices crying for a retreat or even a termination of the executioner... death to the State, (Federal or otherwise) and its alien authority.

These calls come from the would-be anarchists of today... not because they want chaos to reign; rather, because they feel the archaic pull of a more primal autonomy or self-sufficiency, some memory trace that was lost with the establishment of kingdoms, nations, empires, legislators, and other anonymous, impersonal governing bodies.

Yes, A revolution comes. But it is not the gentle revolution or an association, but it will be one of the decay. And while the separatist movements can be gained serious momentum with certain non-republican elements in the context of the "Second Coming" by George Bush, this revolution will not be guided by the resolution or progressive liberals, but conservatives and independents - those who prefer to limit federal authority and limited government in general. And if theDepartments begin with a few states try to escape from the Union, will begin this new anarchist to make their own movements, taking advantage of the vulnerability of both the Union and the States.

As heir to the throne of the Western civilization, with ever-widening circles of social and economic complexity - a "beacon of hope and freedom" to the rest of mankind, the American experience is now an appropriate body for a complete reversal of policy, of course -- rejection of hierarchy, controland the complexity of the civilized state. It seems more and more about the unlikely place for a recovery of the original, the instinctive, natural. Our America is a country ripe for the cultural, economic and political disintegration in the interest of restoring a lost simplicity. All hinges on the nature and dynamics of the revolutionary spirit, and to what extent can overcome the inertia of the existing cultural hegemonic forces.

Wants to leave the coming end of the American Empireus to a retreat into a world populated by the likes of 'Mad Max' - a modern day Leviathan, or will it be the highly anticipated coming of the 'Kingdom of God' on earth? Neither I think! If revolutionary forces succeed in mobilizing this passion for disintegration, and if such passion can fuel the anarchist's vision for community without authority, without a ruler or government, then perhaps we can dismantle this hegemony and establish a new form of kinship-based community with a natural Respect for the autonomy and appreciation of self-sufficiency. We can only hope!
