There are those unexpected and always priceless moments, spent with female friends when you realize something significant is about to unfold.
The Meeting:
"I thought the meeting was on Thursday morning" Carol said.
"No, I think it was on Thursday but it changed to Friday - at least that was what I was told" I responded.
"Okay, well, I know it was originally on Friday but they changed it to Thursday - are you sure?" Carol asked.
"I just Joan said, and she said it was Friday morning and the ground floor from 6:45 am, "I agreed.
6.45 clock on Friday morning, with sleep lines made visible on our faces, four women in the lobby and gently piled into a car. It was more of a start for us, but she lived in the same hotel, where our "Simply Fabulous Females" meeting place. Joan was enthusiastic about the fact that it meant so much to her that we woke up at such an early hour, and how they appreciated ourDedication. We responded with a resounding "we would not miss it for anything."
Arrive at your destination, we are through our other friend, Cathy, tells us that we need to go see the aquarium at the bar received in the hotel. "When my husband and I arrived yesterday evening after a cocktail party, we saw the beautiful, colorful fish swim around inside". We agreed that we will see it after breakfast.
Five women simply fabulous approach the young lady at the hostessstand and ask if we can sit with our group. Apparently she did not understand, intervene five menus and proceeds to sit us on a regular table. Without caffeine, our slow brain cells have not yet entered. But it begins to take us - "I think you're seating us in the wrong place, where the women are simply meeting Fabulous?" Joan asked the landlady. Nervously, she smiles, let us proceed to review and return with the restaurant manager.
As fate would have it there, that the meetingyes on Monday - not Friday. Joan was ashamed and embarrassed like that. You know how women are, at least in women who are also friends, we were not given once and busted her for this faux pas yeah right -!
Thus began the morning filled with lots of laughter and playful allusions, "I did not know it was so bright so early in the morning," "That's okay, Joan, we wanted to stifle all of our men when they were asleep so warm and calm," and "No one will know something else," like a womanfrom the group over and said: "We missed you yesterday.
We spent the morning laughing at ourselves and discuss what is reassuring in our lives and Joan that we regularly from this faux pas menopause. As a last glass of orange juice was poured from the carafe, we have our glasses and gave them a little toast and have worked with determination not to lose the time, Joan said that this is the first Kalon Women, Houston Chapter Meeting.
